(collectively referred to in this Privacy Policy as ”Parkwood Master Builder”, “Parkwood Homes”, “Parkwood”, “we“, “us“, or “our“) as they relate to the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information, in accordance with Personal Information Protection Act (Alberta), when you access or utilize our services on Parkwoodhomes.ca (the “Site“) or otherwise communicate with us (collectively, the “Services“). For purposes of this Privacy Policy, “you” and “your” means you as the user of the Services, whether you are a customer, Site visitor, or another individual whose information we have collected pursuant to this Privacy Policy.

In accordance with Canada’s Anti-spam legislation effective July 1, 2014, acceptance of providing Personal Information (hereinafter defined) gives Parkwood Master Builder and all of its divisions express consent to continue communications with the intended recipient. Any email communication and its attachments do not form part of a binding agreement between the recipient and the sender. Parkwood Master Builder and all of its subsidiaries, affiliates and other related companies (Parkwood) will not recognize or be held responsible for the contents of any email transmission unless a fully executed Purchase Order, Purchase Agreement or an Addendum to a Purchase Agreement signed by both parties is attached. In this sole circumstance, the attached document will be considered to form an agreement between the parties. Directors, Officers, and Vice Presidents are the only positions authorized to bind Parkwood as the Vendor/Builder. Superintendents, Managers, and Administrators are only authorized to sign as Parkwood’s Builder Representative or Witness.

Please note that errors can occur in electronically transmitted materials. We do not accept liability for any such errors. If verification is required, please ask for a hard copy.

Attachments to emails may contain viruses that could damage your computer system. Whilst we take reasonable precautions to minimize this risk, we do not accept liability for any damage which may result from software viruses. You should carry out your own virus checks prior to opening any attachment.

PRIVILEGE AND CONFIDENTIALITY NOTICE: The information received in any e-mails (including attachments) or correspondence from Parkwood Master Builder is confidential and is intended solely for the named recipient. The information may be legally privileged and if you are not the intended recipient be advised that any use, disclosure, copying, forwarding or distribution of an email or correspondence is strictly prohibited. How We Use Personal Information

Personal Information and Usage Data collected on our Site will only be used for the purposes specified in this Privacy Policy or as indicated on the relevant pages of our Site. 

We collect your Usage Date for the purposes of site analytics, marketing, and promotional purposes. Usage Data is used by Parkwood to determine website usage statistics, such as page views and clicks, in order to improve and personalize our website layout, content and services, and for the purpose of advertising and promotional communications by email, text message or postal mail, and to show you advertisements for products or services. This may include using your Personal Information to better tailor the Services and advertising on our Site and other websites.

Personal Information we collect when a user performs certain actions, such as filling out a contact form or subscribing to a newsletter, is used solely for the purposes of communication, and as outlined in the appropriate page of our website when the action is performed.

Your Usage Date and Personal Information is not used or disclosed for purposes other than those set out herein.

Third Party Advertising
