The Parkwood Group of Companies is a long-time supporter of the University Hospital Foundation’s mission to help advance patient care and innovation through inspiring campaigns and initiatives.

Over the years, we have donated funds towards leading-edge technology for programs supporting innovative advancements and research efforts at the University of Alberta Hospital, the Mazankowski Alberta Heart Institute, and the Kaye Edmonton Clinic.

Pilgrims Hospice Society

The Parkwood Group of Companies is proud to support Pilgrims Hospice Society, a cause near and dear to the Hanna family.

Pilgrims offers free compassionate care for those living with a terminal illness, enhancing comfort and dignity until the end of life at the Roozen Family Hospice Centre. With a whole-family approach, their programs also support caregivers and those grieving the death of a loved one, including the Children & Teen’s Grief Support programs sponsored by Parkwood. 

Building a Difference Days

At Parkwood, we are dedicated to building a difference in the communities we serve. We are passionate about giving back, which is why we host quarterly Building a Difference Days with our team.

Each quarter, we choose a local cause close to our hearts, then dedicate a day for members of our team to get out in the field and volunteer their time. Here are a few causes we’ve built a difference for in recent years:

• The Mustard Seed
• The Edmonton Humane Society
• The Bissell Centre
• Edmonton’s Food Bank

We also collaborate with local photographers, offering our showhomes as photo shoot locations in exchange for a donation amount of choice to a local charity of choice in lieu of a booking fee. Ask us about booking a Parkwood showhome for your next photo shoot.
